KITCHEN… The fully integrated kitchen includes an induction hob with electromagnet elements giving instant heat, plus an integrated oven and separate microwave. There is also a large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. We have provided you with plenty of cupboard ingredients; coffee & tea (including Earl Grey and Darjeeling), salt, pepper, olive oil, sunflowers oil, red, white and malt vinegars and a good selection of herbs. You are also provided with washing up liquid, cloths, cleaning products, bin liners, Cling Film and Tin Foil.

 

DINING…The dining room is part of an open plan 33ft room. Enjoy dining on a beautiful hand made oak table.

 

RELAXING…There is a large soft leather sofa to louge on, plus a chair and foot stool beside the log burner should you wish to warm your tootsies. An Indigo plank coffee table provides plenty of space to play your favouite board game - there are plenty for you to chose from.

 

ENTERTAINMENT... There is an enormous wall mounted Sky television with DVD, plus a large collection of films to chose from and a Playstation 3 attached, and PSP3 games library. Wi-fi and an ipod docking station are also available.

 

SLEEPING…The bedroom has a king size bed, beautifully made up with Egyptian cotton bedding and Hungarian Goose Down quilts and pillows and there are fluffy white dressing gowns and slippers for both you and your partner.

 

BATHING...There is a large luxury bathroom which includes a deep, Cast Iron Victorian bath, and a separate shower cubicle with a large overhead shower and a separate shower hose. There are plenty of soft fluffy towels and Molten Brown hand soap and lotion to add to that luxurious feel.

 

PARKING...There is private off street parking for 1 car.

 

THE LOCAL PUB & MATLOCK…Within a short walking distance is the dog friendly country pub where you will receive a warm welcome from the staff and locals alike. There is a large beer garden to enjoy and home cooked food is served. Matlock is only a 15 minute walk where you with find all usual amenities and plenty of bars and restaurants including; Italian, Indian & Thai. You will find a lovely park too located next to the Derwent River with plenty of facilities including; flower garden, Wi-Fi, coffee shop, tennis courts, mini golf, a skate board deck, children's playground with pool and train and boat rides for the kids.

 

WITHIN A 15 MINUTE DRIVE

*Gullivers Kingdom - A well-planned theme park aimed at families with younger children.


*Masson Mill, Matlock Bath - The mill closed as recently as 1991 and has been converted into a shopping village, with exhibition and conference centre, but it also has a working textile museum.

 

*The Heights Of Abraham - View the scenery from high above in a cable car then take a guided tour around a large network of naturally formed caverns and passageways dating back millions of years.


*Granby Arcade and Bakewell House Museum - Bakewell has a wide range of shops and you will be able to find anything you need. Some of the shops are in Granby arcade which is home to a small group of gift shops out of the rain!


*Haddon Hall is a fortified medieval manor house and probably the finest example in existence.


*Chatsworth House and Farm Shop - One of the true treasure houses of Britain, set in extensive parklands beside the River Derwent. The farm shop offers everything from venison steaks and fine chocolates, to sparkling champagne and beautiful sheepskin rugs.


*Peak Rail - runs regular Steam Trains between Matlock Riverside and Rowsley.
 
*Crich Tram Museum - Nestling high up in the heart of Derbyshire overlooking the famous Derwent Valley and open almost throughout the year, Crich Tramway Village is a lovingly restored period village that is also home to the National Tramway Museum and its world renowned archives.


*Caudwell Mill, Rowsley  - The mill is an excellent example of a working 19th century mill, with water turbines powering the machinery.
