THE KITCHEN… is fully equipped and comprises of a gas hob with overhead fan, electric oven and microwave. We have provided you with plenty of cupboard ingredients; coffee & tea (including Earl Grey and Darjeeling), salt, pepper, olive oil, sunflowers oil, red, white and malt vinegars and a good selection of herbs. You are also provided with washing up liquid, cloths, cleaning products, bin liners, Cling Film and Tin Foil. 

                          

THE LOUNGE…is open plan with the kitchen. The ceilings are high and finished with original Victorian detail. The room is painted in a delicate blue heritage paint which enhances the rooms’ features. A large bay, south facing window and a second east facing window provide an abundance of natural light. Views of the valley can be enjoyed through the bay. Two cushion filled sofas benefit from washable covers that are regularly laundered. There is *SKY TV, a CD & DVD and a large selection of DVD films for you to watch, plus tourist information, local history books, maps, and games.

 

THE BEDROOMS…are beautifully styled to feel romantic and inviting. To welcome you to your room there is homemade soap and handmade chocolates for each guest. The main bedroom benefits from a memory foam mattress topper, Hungarian Goose Down pillows and 400 count Egyptian Cotton bedding. There is also a choice of different weight duvets and pillows to suit your preference if required. There is plenty of storage with a double wardrobe. Coffee making facilities, alarm clock, hairdryer, Iron and board are provided for your convenience.

 

THE BATHROOM…is newly installed and comprises of clean white suite, overhead power shower and fully tiled surfaces. There are plenty of soft white towels to use and toilet paper, cleansing hand gel and scented bath cream are provided.

 

THE TERRACE…is south facing with far reaching views which include High Torr, and Riber Castle. It is enclosed and includes table, chairs and a BBQ. South facing you can enjoy

 

PARKING…There is private off street parking provided for two cars.

 

THE LOCAL PUB & MATLOCK…Within a short walking distance is the dog friendly country pub where you will receive a warm welcome from the staff and locals alike. There is a large beer garden to enjoy and home cooked food is served. Matlock is only a 15 minute walk where you with find all usual amenities and plenty of bars and restaurants including; Italian, Indian & Thai. You will find a lovely park too located next to the Derwent River with plenty of facilities including; flower garden, Wi-Fi, coffee shop, tennis courts, mini golf, a skate board deck, children's playground with pool and train and boat rides for the kids.
