The Peak District is one of the UK's most popular walking destinations. The landscapes are spectacular, and there are many mapped out trails and routes that you can follow. There is something for everyone, from challenging treks up hills and crags to simple strolls in the countryside. There are also over 150 free guided walks lead by Authority Rangers who are also qualified first aiders. They are specialised in navigation, landscape and archaeology.
